Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Fyleza processes when you view email files, convert PDF documents, change site preferences or send feedback.

Effective date: August 25, 2026

Information we process

Fyleza processes the files you deliberately select, the operation and language you choose, browser preferences, feedback messages and any email address you voluntarily include with feedback. The hosting infrastructure may also process standard security and delivery logs.

Uploaded files

EML, MSG and PDF files are uploaded only after you select them and start an operation. Fyleza does not scan other files on your device. Email content is parsed on the Fyleza server. PDF processing depends on the conversion mode described below.

Where file processing happens

EML and MSG viewing, exact-copy PDF conversion and local fallback conversion run on the Fyleza server. Supported editable PDF conversions may use Adobe PDF Services. The clearly labelled AI mode uses OpenRouter, Mistral OCR and Google Gemini. Do not upload a document if you do not agree to the providers used by the selected mode.

Adobe PDF Services

For supported editable PDF conversions, the source PDF is sent to Adobe PDF Services and the generated DOCX is returned to Fyleza for delivery to you. Adobe states that assets uploaded or generated through its Python SDK remain available in Adobe Document Cloud for up to 24 hours and are accessible only through the applicable credentials or signed asset URL.

OpenRouter, Mistral OCR and Google Gemini

In AI mode, the complete PDF is sent to OpenRouter as encoded file data. OpenRouter sends it to the Mistral OCR file-processing engine to extract text and, where applicable, images. The extracted content is then supplied through OpenRouter to the requested Google Gemini model to create the document structure. The providers therefore process document content and may process personal or confidential information contained in it.

Provider processing and international transfers

Adobe, OpenRouter, Mistral AI and Google operate under their own privacy, security and retention terms and may process data in countries outside your location. OpenRouter says it does not retain prompt and response content by default unless account logging or data-sharing options are enabled, but the selected downstream endpoint may apply its own retention rules. Provider policies can change; the current provider information is linked below.

Technical information

The server and hosting providers may receive IP address, request time, requested route, browser or device information and error or security events. These records are used to deliver the service, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.

Browser storage and preferences

Fyleza uses local browser storage for language and consent choices. These values stay on your device until you clear site data or change the setting. Fyleza does not use this storage to read your documents.

Analytics

No optional analytics service is currently connected. Selecting the analytics preference only records your choice for a possible future integration; analytics will not be activated without updating this policy and applying the saved choice.

Advertising

Reserved advertising areas may be displayed, but no advertising network or advertising cookie is currently connected. Any future activation will require an updated notice and will respect the applicable consent setting.

Retention on Fyleza systems

PDF source files and converted outputs are removed from the Fyleza server after the response is delivered or if processing fails. Temporary attachments extracted from EML and MSG files expire after 15 minutes. Browser preferences remain until cleared. Feedback records are retained for support, security and service improvement until they are no longer reasonably required.

Your choices and requests

You decide whether to upload a file and which processing mode to use. You can clear browser preferences at any time. Use the Feedback control to request access to, correction of or deletion of feedback information you previously supplied; include enough information for the request to be identified.

Privacy and service requests

Use the Feedback control available on every Fyleza page. Do not include passwords, payment details, identity-document numbers or document contents in the message.
